Because of COVID-19, FameLab 2020 will take place at different dates than originally advertised.

Heats were held in a different format too. Instead of a presentation in person, registered participants sent in videos for the jury to review and evaluate. The jury will decide and announce the finalists by the end of April.

New date for FameLab Hungary 2020 national finals is 5pm, Wednesday, 16 September 2020. The venue: Ceremonial Hall, Hungarian Academy of Sciences (1051 Budapest, Széchenyi István tér 9.)

Cheltenham Science Festival, traditionally the home of FameLab International, has been cancelled for 2020. The international final will be held during the Literature Festival instead (2-11 October 2020).
