A Belga Királyság Királyi Akadémia Tengerentúli Tudományok Intézetének rendes éves tudományos versenyére szóló felhívás

A Belga Királyság Királyi Akadémia Tengerentúli Tudományok Intézete meghirdette rendes éves tudományos versenyére szóló felhívását a 2015-ös és 2016-os évekre. A tudományos verseny nyitott, a világ minden részéről lehet jelentkezni pályamunkákkal. A nyertes munkákat 2.500 euróval díjazzák. Az Akadémia minden évben 3 kérdést határoz meg, amelyekre várják a pályázatok beküldését.

A 2015. évi verseny kérdései:

• A study related to the state theories in the contemporary Arab world is requested.
• What are the most equitable human resource policies for health in low and middle income developing countries and what are their chances of success?
• A study is requested on what can be the potential contributions of plant and/or animal biodiversity to improve nutrition security and health in developing countries.

A 2016. évi verseny kérdései:

• An original study is requested on the involvement of colonial troops in the First World War, either on the European front or outside Europe. The topic also concerns the memory of this involvement and can be tackled from the standpoint of any human science.
• A study is requested on the management and reduction of flood risks in developing countries.
• A social and economic impact study, in the broad sense of the world (health, education, security,...) is requested on the development of digital communications networks in emerging countries. The study may also deal with the possibilities of South-North cooperation given by digital networks through information exchange platforms in the field of research.

A versenyre eredeti és 3 évnél nem régebbi tudományos munkával, például PhD dolgozattal vagy hasonló szintű tanulmánnyal lehet pályázni, amelyet a kérdések kihirdetését megelőzően még nem publikáltak. A pályamunkák nyelve angol, francia, holland, német vagy spanyol lehet. A pályamunkákat a 2015. évi verseny esetén legkésőbb 2015. március 1-éig, a 2016. évi verseny esetén legkésőbb 2016. március 1-éig kell eljuttatni 5 példányban az Akadémia Titkársága részére.

A beérkezett pályázati anyagokat héttagú zsűri bírálja el, amelyet az Akadémia elnöke és minden szekcióból 2-2 tag alkot. A győztes pályamunkákat az eredmény kihirdetése után elérhetővé teszik az Akadémia tagjai részére.
