A rendezvény az AE Budapest Hub „Városi Fenntarthatóság” tematikus programjának („thematic mission for Urban Sustainability”) előadóülése, amely a természetes élőhelyek városokon belüli megőrzésére, illetve visszaállítására irányuló legfrissebb környezettudományi, illetve ökológiai kutatási eredményekbe kíván betekintést adni.

Az előadóülés moderátorai:

• Török Péter, az AE Budapest Hub „Városi Fenntarthatóság” tematikus program egyik társelnöke és az MTA-DE Lendület Funkcionális és Restaurációs Ökológiai Kutatócsoport vezetője,
• Batáry Péter, az MTA ÖK Lendület Táj- és Természetvédelmi Ökológiai Kutatócsoport vezetője.

Az előadók részben személyesen, részben Zoomon tartják meg előadásukat, a közönség pedig személyesen, illetve élő közvetítésen követheti az eseményt.
