First Call Announced for the Momentum MSCA Premium Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
The Momentum MSCA Programme aims to strengthen international visibility and enhance the European and global impact of the MTA’s Lendület Programme by supporting incoming mobility and fostering research excellence. The current call is open for applications from excellent postdoctoral researchers, with the aim of selecting and supporting 15 fellows.
The Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) launches Call 1 of Momentum MSCA Premium Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme (hereinafter referred to as “Momentum MSCA Programme”) on 2 April 2025. The Programme provides outstanding postdoctoral researchers from around the world with the opportunity to carry out their research at Hungarian host research institutions running Lendület (“Momentum”) research groups participating in the Momentum MSCA Programme.
The Momentum MSCA Programme aims to strengthen international visibility and enhance the European and global impact of the MTA’s Lendület Programme by supporting incoming mobility and fostering research excellence. The current call is open for applications from excellent postdoctoral researchers, with the aim of selecting and supporting 15 fellows. The fellowship is expected to start between 1 January and 31 March 2026. The duration of the fellowship is preferably 36 months, with a minimum of 12 months, and includes a mandatory international secondment.
In addition to fellowship, the Programme offers a broad range of development opportunities, designed to enhance fellows’ versatility and employability in both academia and beyond.
The Momentum MSCA Programme is co-funded by the European Commission, through the Research Executive Agency (REA), and the Secretariat of MTA, under Grant Agreement No. 101179854 within the framework of the HORIZON-MSCA-2023-COFUND-01 programme.
