YAE's ERC Starting Grant Mentoring Event Part 2 is organized in collaboration with the AE Budapest Knowledge Hub on 11 November 2021

The Young Academy of Europe, together with the AE Budapest Knowledge Hub, is inviting young researchers interested in applying to ERC's next Starting Grant call to an online event on Zoom

On 11th November 2021, between 14:00-16:00 CET, the Young Academy of Europe (YAE) in collaboration with the Academia Europaea (AE) Budapest Knowledge Hub will host an event for researchers who are interested in applying for the next round of European Research Council Starting Grants (ERC StG), with the ambition of widening participation to researchers from EU13 and Associated Countries.

Following a very successful initial event held online last year, this second event in YAE's mentoring series will focus on the ERC’s evaluation panels work and how decisions within evaluation panels are made during the ERC evaluation process. The event will have two parts: a plenary part with general information and a second part with three breakout sessions, each of them featuring a mock ERC StG evaluation panel by domain: Physical Sciences & Engineering (PE), Life Sciences (LS), and Social Sciences & Humanities (SH). Thus participants - prospective ERC StG applicants - will have a chance to get a glimpse of a typical - "mock" - ERC evaluation panel at work.

Registration to the event is free. For further details on the agenda of the event and to register, please go to the event webpage. Registered participants will receive the Zoom link to the event at a later time.

You can also access the registration site directly.
