23rd MEETING OF NOBEL LAUREATES AND TALENTED STUDENTS

An event for secondary school pupils, university students, and early career-stage scientists, organised by the Academia Europaea Budapest Hub, in collaboration with the National Academy of Scientist Education (NASE) to be held from 6th to 9th December 2024 in Szeged.

Professor Péter Hegyi MAE, the Director of the Academia Europaea Budapest Knowledge Hub, is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity under the FROM CURIOSITY TO CAREER PROGRAM. One of its primary missions is to inspire, motivate, and support the career development of young researchers by providing them with opportunities to interact with world-class scientists and learn from their experiences.

The meeting, which will be held from 6th until 9th December in Szeged, will bring together highly distinguished scientists and early-career scientists for keynote lectures, round-table discussions, hands-on laboratory practices, and cultural programmes. Speakers include Nobel laureate Martin Chalfie and Ole Petersen CBE MAE ML FRS, Academia Europaea Cardiff Hub Director.

Due to the limited number of available spots (20-30 participants), we are only able to accept applicants who are recommended by an AE member. MAEs can recommend multiple candidates, but in this case they should rank them.

The support by Academia Europaea members will be instrumental in fostering the next generation of European researchers.
