Online panel discussion to explore gender-related challenges in science
This event on June 12, 2025 will explore gender-related challenges in science, especially those affecting women and mothers in academia. Successful strategies promoting careers for women will also be highlighted. The event will feature insights and experiences from experts affiliated with Academia Europaea and leading European scientific institutions.

Panel Discussion
Gender issues in science, focusing on career challenges for women and mothers in academia, and initiatives promoting STEM careers for young girls will be discussed at an online event, co-organised by the Academia Europaea Budapest Hub & Wrocław Knowledge Hub. Experts from the Academia Europaea, Polish, Austrian and Hungarian Academies of Sciences, and the Hungarian Women in Science Association will share insights and best practices.
