How to bridge the gap between scientific research and policy-making

AE CLASS C (Life Sciences) is pleased to announce an important initiative aimed at bridging the gap between scientific research and policy-making. Members of the Academia Europaea Class C are invited to join in developing a comprehensive guideline that will facilitate the effective translation of scientific findings into policy decisions.

Details of this initiative are included in two documents:

1) A position paper outlining the need for and approach to this guideline.

2) A detailed proposal on including an "implementation for policy makers" section in scientific publications.
