The Hungarian Young Academy offers in collaboration with the AE Budapest Hub a Zoom event explaining to young Hungarian researchers what YAE or GYA do and what's the point in joining them

FKA, the Hungarian Young Academy, in collaboration with the AE Budapest Knowledge Hub, is organizing a webinar for young Hungarian researchers on membership in international young academies and its benefits. The webinar will take place on August 10, 2021, starting at 10:00 AM. The language of the event will be Hungarian.

The two speakers, Dr Katalin Solymosi and Dr Gergely Toldi, will present two organizations in particular, the Young Academy of Europe (YAE) and the Global Young Academy (GYA). The former speaker is YAE’s Vice-Chair for recruitment, while the latter is a GYA alumnus and former member of GYA’s Selection Committee. Both are Co-Chairs of the recently established AE Budapest Knowledge Hub.

With YAE, the current deadline for submission of application for membership is 15 September 2021. With GYA, applications for membership can be submitted all year round.

FKA is pleased to assist young Hungarian researchers with their application to any of the above two organizations.

Detailed information about the webinar, including the Zoom link to the event, is available in Hungarian here.
