The Academy's Club is an independent legal entity within the organisation of the Academy, working on the principle of self-government. Its objective is to provide high-quality services for the most important actors of Hungarian scientific and economic life. The Club offers a nice environment for arranging meetings to promote the dialogue between the leading representatives of the Hungarian scientific community and social-economic life. It is also a convenient place for holding workshop meetings, discussions, and the scene of outstanding cultural programmes, including concerts. Its membership includes members of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, members of the Széchenyi Academy of Arts, outstanding Hungarian scientists and scholars living abroad, as well as those members of the Academy's Public Chamber who hold a degree.
